writing complex sentences
A complex sentence is made up from an independent clause and an dependent clause.
An independent clause is a group of words that could be a sentence, e.g, "I am happy."
A dependent clause is a group of words that cannot be a sentence by its self, e.g " when i ski"
A dependent clause can help form a sentence when it works with an independent clause. e g. "I am happy when i ski. other joining words ---->that, who, witch, but, after, for, since, while, through
Not a complex sentence "I was hungry, than i ate dinner"

Owner not giving up horses to government.
Paolo Lugari-Zerafa is trying to keep her horses from the government. There were 7 horses involved in this terrible situation. It was all taking place in Canada on November 18 1010. Paolo Lugari-Zerafa took these horses because if not than they would be killed. The real problem is that they are trying to take back the horses because they are saying they don't have all the permits.
All of these horses were from France. There was two stallions brought in on temporary permits. The rest had permanent permits and received the necessary metritis tests. But only 6 survived coming to Canada.
Lugari-Zerafa paid transporter Brian Doyle $60,000 to bring seven horses into Canada from France.
This is not the first time a issue has occurred. It happened before in 1997 meet with a horse trader in northern England spiralled out of control. The police ended up being called weapon charges were later dropped on

Do dress codes make high schools better places?
Q: Do dress codes make high schools better places?
T: I think that dress codes do make high schools better.
1. Looks trashy for some people
2. Guys can't focus
3. Gets people ready for world of work
__________
I think that dress codes do make high schools better. lf you didn't have a dress code then people might wear trashy clothing, making everyone look bad. If girls don't follow the dress code, then some of the guys in high school might be distracted. Finally, students who get used to following a dress code will be ready to enter the work world in the future ./
If people show up with really short skirts and clothing that may be a bit too revealing then it could make the whole school look bad. In our school, we get people visiting from the city of Niagara Falls, other schools and even other parts of the province. Even if they see a few people wearing tops, that may be too revealing, they might think everyone in our school is the same. However, if everyone follows the dress code, then visitors will feel comfortable here.
When some girls wear short skirts and revealing tops, the guys may not be paying as much attention to their work. If a girl with a really low cut top is behind a bunch of guys they may probably will pay more attention
to the girls top than the lesson, because they will be looking back to the girl staring at there cleavage if she is showing any. If a guy is hanging out with a girl that they like, they may try and look up their skirt or even try and touch the cleavage. That may cause the girl to feel uncomfortable, or even ashamed about how they look. Plus when the guy are looking at the girls skirts, tops, cleavage Ect, they may drop there marks because they are not focusing on there school work.
